Where to get seafood now?
Many people have asked us, “Where do I get seafood after Fishadelphia’s seafood club pauses?” We’ve got a lot of suggestions... though none are exactly like what we offered.
The truth is, Fishadelphia’s seafood club offers a unique service that isn’t really offered by anyone else: fresh local seafood in the city with a completely transparent supply chain (we can tell you everyone who has touched it between the ocean and your plate). We’re going to be working on new ways to get transparent fresh local seafood into the city, so stay tuned!
With that said, here are some categorized suggestions.

Seafood shipped to you
People are always asking us about seafood that isn’t available locally, like salmon and shrimp. While we have always thought that there’s more than enough delicious seafood to eat locally, we are connected to a network of values-aligned seafood businesses around the country through the Local Catch Network. Here are some folks we know and love who can ship directly to you (though some require minimum orders). You can also explore the Local Catch Seafood Finder yourself.
-
Alaskan’s Own. Alaskan’s Own is a great community-based group working to support local fishermen and supply seafood and support to local Alaskans. They now ship seafood boxes nationally. AO has some good info on high quality frozen seafood in particular.

Dayboat Blue. Dayboat Blue is run by Togue Brawn, a fisherman based in Maine. They have pickups around the northeast and can also ship large orders of seafood directly to consumers.
Our friends at NAMA have compiled a list of small-scale seafood sellers that ship nationally; we don’t have direct relationships with most of these folks but are glad to be able to share this resource: Seafood sellers that ship nationally [public]
