We’re a small seafood program going through BIG changes!

We have some biiiiiig updates for the fall.  If you just can’t wait, sign up here!  Everyone must sign up through this website before paying so we make sure to get your current information.  All subscriptions are on sale ($5 off!) if you sign up before Sun, 8/8!  

The biggest news is that we’re scaling up - we want to get more delicious seafood to more people, and we also want to move closer to financial self-sufficiency (reducing our dependence on grant funding).  Our goal is to get to 600 customers by the end of the year, up from 400 in the spring!  We’re super excited, but have also come to realize that this scaling will require some changes to how we’ve been running things.  

20 pickup locations!  

We’re planning at least 20 pickup locations for the fall and we might add more in your neighborhood!  Check them out here!  View a map here!  You can also pick up in person (and buy extra) at our staffed program sites in North Philly, South Philly, and Ardmore.  

Fish all year!

You can now sign up for the entire academic year: Sep - May, with a short break in Jan!  If you sign up for full fall + spring together (before 9/8), you will get a week’s share free!  You can also sign up just for the fall if you’re not ready to commit, and then renew in Dec.  

Pickup is every other Wednesday

All pickups will be on alternating Wed (except Primal Supply on Thu).  Read details and times here.  

  • Narwhal weeks (Gratz, Ardmore, Fishtown, Fairhill, Oxford Circle, Germantown, Mt. Airy, Elkins Park, Wallingford, East Falls, Spruce Hill, Primal Supply Brewerytown): 

    • Fall: Weds 9/15, 9/29, 10/13, 10/27, 11/10, 11/22 (Mon because of Thanksgiving), 12/8, 1/5 (except Primal Supply pickup is the next day on Thu, not Wed) 

    • Spring: starts 2/2 and runs biweekly through 5/11

  • Seadragon weeks (Thomas, Gayborhood, Art Museum, Queen Village, Graduate Hospital, Point Breeze, Neumann, Baltimore Ave): 

    • Fall: Weds 9/22, 10/6, 10/20, 11/3, 11/17, 12/1, 12/15, 1/12

    • Spring: starts 2/9, and runs biweekly through 5/18 

You can sign up at more than one location if you want!  (Signing up for a Narwhal week and a Seadragon week means you get different fish every week.)

Clubs

Blue Club (whole fish + shellfish) and Orange Club (fillets + shellfish) are similar to before.  However, Purple Club is pausing - read more about how and why here. 

More fish!  

You will receive more fish!  Orange Club will get 1-1.25 lbs of fillets, and Blue Club will get 1.5-4 lbs of whole fish.  Prices are going up slightly to reflect this: $24/wk (regular rate), $12/wk (community rate).  These prices get us closer to the true cost of getting a share to you.  Read more about that here.  

Venmo and PayPal payments through the web!

You can now pay with Venmo and PayPal directly through our website!  Look here for more information about how.  

Pausing extra shares for now

We are pausing extra shares for now.  The best way to get more fish is to sign up for a double share (and get a week’s share free!). 

Neighbor shares! 

We are rolling out a new Neighbor Share mutual aid program, where you can purchase a share for a family in need, or sign up to receive a share purchased by a neighbor!  Read more about neighbor share here!  If you purchase a Neighbor Share before 8/30 you will receive a limited edition student-designed tote bag!

More ways to get big discounts!

  • Fall + spring. If you sign up for the full fall + spring seasons together (by 9/8), you get a free week’s share!

  • Double subscription. If you sign up for two subscriptions and use promo code CLUBDOUBLE anytime, you get the equivalent of a free week’s share for a full season (about 6% discount). (If you sign up for a double share for fall + spring by Wed 9/8, you get FOUR week’s shares free!)

  • Referring new customers!  You will get a $6 promo code for every new subscribed customer you refer to us this season.  If you refer 8 new subscribed customers by the end of the season, you can get your next season’s subscription for free!  Make sure your referrals put your full name in the “Referred by” field when they sign up.

  • Hosting a cooler!  If you host a cooler with at least 15 customers, you can get your subscription for free!
