Barnegat Oyster Collective

The Barnegat Oyster Collective is a group of oyster growers working to support and preserve oyster farming in Barnegat Bay. Fishadelphia has bought a number of different kinds of oysters from the collective, including Love oysters (grown by Matt Mattusky of Love Oyster Co. in Great Bay), and Sugar Shack oysters (grown by Matty Gregg of 40 North). Talia first met Matty Gregg ten years ago when she traded a box of cookies in exchange for a handful of oysters for her dissertation research project.
