George Mathis is in charge of purchasing our fish and bringing it to Philadelphia. George also harvests or grows some of our clams. George is a third generation clammer, a clam farmer for over 40 years, and a member of the Heritage Shellfish Cooperative. He became involved in Fishadelphia because of his interest in farmer/fishermen-to-consumer food distribution systems. He also stays busy helping raise his son and two grandkids with his wife Doreen in the Pinelands of NJ.
