Ingredients

  • 1 lb dogfish fillets

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 1/2 lemon, cut into half moon slices

  • Rosemary (to taste)

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1/3 cup white wine

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 medium onion, cut into round slices

  • Pepper (to taste)

  • Cilantro (to taste), chopped

  • Salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Season the dogfish with salt, pepper, chopped garlic, lemon juice, lemon slices, rosemary and white wine. Let marinate for about one hour.

  2. Put the onion and olive oil in a saucepan and saute over low heat until the onion starts to turn slightly golden. Add the fish together with the marinade and cook on a low heat with the pan covered for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Turn off the heat, sprinkle the fish with chopped cilantro. Goes well with fries and salad!
