How Membership Works

Our Seafood Club is a membership program that works like a farm share, but with fish. So instead of a being a CSA (community-supported agriculture) we're a CSF (community-supported fishery) organization.

You're not just buying higher-quality & fresher seafood than you can get at a grocery store, but also investing in your local fisheries!

Every other week, members pick up a different type of fish or shellfish at one of ~20 neighborhood locations.

All of it comes directly from harvesters in New Jersey and is 100% traceable: every week we tell you the captain and vessel that caught it, who drove it, who filleted it, and who packed it.

We even run fieldtrips to meet the producers and organize community cooking events. Fishadelphia membership doesn't just provide you with the best seafood around, but connects you to this ecosystem of relationships so you learn more about the regional fishing landscape and connect with other seafood lovers.

We use mutual aid model where members choose what to pay based on their resources. This ensures that Philadelphians of all economic backgrounds can belong to our community.

How do I sign up?

  • Pick Rate

We use a pay-what-you can sliding scale membership system.

    1
  • Decide on Length

An annual commitment provides stability that allows us to pay staff a living wage and to run community programs.

Monthly memberships are available for those who can't afford to pay upfront or who are trying it for the first time.

    2
  • Choose Club

Each share is 1 to 1.5 lbs of finfish fillets or 1.5 to 4 lbs of whole fish (not scaled or gutted).

All members will receive an equivalent quantity of shellfish some weeks.

    3
  • Select Pickup

We have coolers at ~20 neighborhood porches and community organizations all over the Philadelphia area.

Find a pickup that works for you!
